MAD O ! COVID-19 patient in Gombe writes WAEC Exams from Isolation Centre
Coronavirus posive patient in Gombe is writing his West African Examination, which began today across Nigeria so shocking
The patient is from Kaduna State and tested positive sometime back and was immediately evacuated for isolation at the Gombe State Specialists Hospital.
A statement by the government said the student is writing the examination under safe condition in the isolation center with full joint supervision of the Ministry of Education, West African Examination Council and the Gombe State Taskforce on Covid-19.
It will be recalled that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya had directed that students, principals and teachers be tested for Coronavirus, preparatory to the school resumption for exiting students.
Following this directive the Gombe State Ministry of Education subjected staff and students to the Covid-19 test, especially in schools under the students exchange programme.
Consequently, it was through this process that the student from Kaduna State was tested positive for the virus.
