NANS JCC OSUN AXIS EXPRESSES HER DISPLEASURE OVER THE DEATH OF O.A.U FINAL YEAR STUDENT, WHO DIED AS A RESULT OF DUTY NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF O.A.U HEALTH CENTRE PERSONNEL.

NANS JCC OSUN AXIS under the aegis of Comrade Afeez Oyelayo Oyewole P.k.a Ewe expresses her displeasure over the death of Miss Aishat Adeshina Omowunmi, a final year student of Faculty of Art , who died as a result of Negligence from the ends of O.A.U health center personnel.

According to the report gathered from student representative. It was ventilated to us that the deceased who was an asthmatic patient was rushed down to the institution health center in wake of severe illness, where no attention was given to the dying patient, after the students representative had discerned their non challant attitude, they decided to rush the deceased to Seven Day Adventist hospital where she finally gave up the ghost.

In respect to report gathered, it’s a clear fact that our dear promising Omowunmi kicked the bucket as a result of negligence from the end of O.A.U health center personnel on duty, which goes in contrary to the code of conduct of their profession, as their saddled responsibility is to sees to the medical need of GREAT IFE STUDENTS and as well as saving the life of student that are in dire need of medical care. It’s sardonic and regrettable that reverse is the case.

IT saddens our heart and shaken our mind to have received such news as at this period where we are praying and working towards safety and adequate welfarism of Osun Students.

NANS JCC OSUN AXIS is using this medium to charge and implore O.A.U management and all the concerned body to make right circumspection on the issue, in a bid to identify those personnel on duty as at the time of the occurrence and accord to them deserving punishment, so as to curb repetition of such inglorious occurrence.

In no circumstances should human being toy with the life of fellow human being. Such behavior is black and inglorious, all hand must be on deck to kick against such life shortening act.

We are appreciate the effort of O.A.U students leaders and entire GREAT IFE STUDENTS as they deemed it appropriate to troop out In masses to register their displeasure over the death of our dear Aishat Adeshina Omowunmi. I supplicate to Almighty Allah to grant us victory over injustice and perpetrators of black act.

We commiserate with the family, friends and associates of Late miss Aishat Adeshina Omowunmi. We pray to Almighty GOD to give us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
